Tele-Radiology
Revolutionary in it’s day, I designed a system to allow automated transmission of NMRI, CAT and XRAY images from a hospital to an off- site radiologist for review on a personal computer. The system saves valuable time in providing patient services. This PC based product has tremendous cost advantages over existing systems.
The system was designed to service hospitals and radiologists in rural environments, where the time it would take for a staff radiologist to get to the hospital from his home could be an hour or more.

Engineering Support – Quality Control
In the manufacturing environment; created software to analyze picture quality on an experimental projection television system. The system involved setting up a real-time interface to a video digitizer and continuously scanning the digitized image for abnormalities. When one was encountered, it was cataloged. When the program terminated, a complete report was printed out.

Retail Electronic Catalog
As a part of a development team; participated in the design of an electronic catalog and/or kiosk for retail auto parts stores. Contributed heavily in the creation of a special database management system to support this effort. Worked extensively with graphics software and provided assembly language and CP/M expertise.
