Engineering Support – Quality Control
In the manufacturing environment; created software to analyze picture quality on an experimental projection television system. The system involved setting up a real-time interface to a video digitizer and continuously scanning the digitized image for abnormalities. When one was encountered, it was cataloged. When the program terminated, a complete report was printed out.

Retail Electronic Catalog
As a part of a development team; participated in the design of an electronic catalog and/or kiosk for retail auto parts stores. Contributed heavily in the creation of a special database management system to support this effort. Worked extensively with graphics software and provided assembly language and CP/M expertise.

POS/Accounting
Designed a fully integrated Point-Of-Sale accounting package for the TRS-80 microcomputer. This package involved writing a database management system and screen I/O utility package. Subsequently managed its development and handled all aspects of its nationwide commercial launch.

Order Entry/Resource Management
This project was for a steel fabricator. Designed and developed an integrated order entry /quotation system. The system allowed an operator to enter details of an order and would suggest delivery and pricing information. Project required integration of spreadsheets and a database along with customized BASIC to produce the finished system.
